February 26, 2009 - In these turbulent times, property buyers are looking for mature, tried-and-tested markets offering good returns and low risk. Lake Como, often considered the most beautiful of the Italian lakes, is also blessed with buoyant housing prices that buck the downward trend. An hour’s drive from Milan, Lake Como is renowned for its charming, lakeside towns, magnificent villas, spectacular mountain scenery – and famous residents.
